I am who I am…

I am who I am… I am who I am. And that is more than enough for me. I know my worth. It is not determined by others, but by me. Outsiders do not define my value. And I could care less how others see me, what they believe or think of me. I know my own path. I follow it. No apologies, excuses, or posturing. Just me, ready to be me. I like this road - illuminated by my Northern Star. This is my journey, my path… It is mine, and mine alone. No one can walk it for me. They do not know my path as well as me… They will not delay my stride. I walk in my own shoes. My steps may not always be steadied by wisdom. And my faults will be countless. But for anyone whose glass house is without defects… I implore them to cast stones and harsh words. I am who I am. I am me. Without pretension, filters or veils. I am perfect at perfecting my foibles of imperfections. But who is not. We all strive to be better versions of ourselves. I welcome life’s curve balls, its unexpected gifts, and surprises with satisfied laughter. This is my wholesome journey. I am me. I am who I am. After tiring of pleasing the unquenchable crowds I am finally at home and alive in my skin.
