Let’s talk Some choose detached silence, notwithstanding thoughts screaming effortlessly in their heads. It is simply easier to tune out the inner voices. Let's not go down that path! Instead, let's try talking. We can talk about anything, about dreams and ambitions, about shared hopes or old times. We might even resurrect some aged conversations - the ones… once seasoned with belly-aching laughter. Let's talk for a moment, but no small talk or talk for talk's sake. It should not be empty, soulless talk to fill vexing voids. It should be talk that listens to hear your heart breathe and think. The kind that comes not from nostalgia, but from a place where you plant seeds, watch them grow and come to know hope intimately. Let’s talk about the simple things… like life's gifts that we take for granted. Let’s talk about being present in the moment. About memories - even those which are still in the making. Let's remember to remember them before they fall flat and tumble over life's jagged cliffs. Let’s talk about boisterous, penetrating silence, about curious false impressions and longings for lost smiles. Let's talk about things that matter – about everything and nothing in particular, until we hear our voices sigh, breathe and speak their minds. We could even reminisce about what could be and what could have been. Let's talk... but without rushing, without timetables, without time limits and artificial boundaries. Just let conversations flow as naturally as a stroll in the cool comfort of spring. This might massage away knots of worry that choke conversation.
